My Gyaru Journey #2 Employment and style (picture heavy)

Now the 1st step to being a fabulous Gyaru is to have the Funds to do so as well as a Style  I have been banging my head against the wall looking for a job to support my fashion fetish.I have two interviews one tomorrow and one Tuesday I have faith that I will get one of them. now once that stuff is set up Im gonna stop shopping around for my style pieces. I researched the Gryaru Kei style and I seen a bunch of different sub styles  I liked a lot of them because the suite my many different personalities I really had a hard time with this because I could see myself doing a number of different styles ,well after taking forever to  decide I basically came down to two styles and they are Rokku Rock and Goshikku (Goth)  Gyaru  and I may dapple in Military & Marine Gyrau   a lot actually ). Now I know and understand that  these styles are really considered Gyaru  and I don't really care so yea. I picked these styles because they reflect upon my personality directly I just love them I think I would look so beautiful and sexy in these styles!


Rokku Rock
I love it because its very rocker  its something I would wear anyway and to me its very very easy to accessorize ya dig!  Also in my opinion  this style is more fun to play around with........So here is  what this style looks like . I got the mostly all the pictures from soul sister which is my favorite mag as of right now. It features the very beautiful Ayame I Love her she looks so exotic (shes the one with very short hair)

 Goshikku (Goth)  Gyaru

Im Gothic so this would be a good transition for  me as well. I love goth Gyaru 

its a fun style. I would just do a more grown up and polished versions of the style since im 22 years old . I think mixing this with a Victorian or Steampunk style would look fierce( hmmm why the hell isnt there a Steampunk or Victorial Gyaru style?) So anywho this is the style  I got these pictures from Kera its also a good mag  I just think I have to Very careful not to pick things that would fall in to the Lolita category

Lets just say this I love all military fashion styles especially Sailor style  it just reminds me of pin up girls and i love that style.

My Gyaru journey #1 The Ugly Truth

I herd the dreaded words NOT GAL .OK so it wasn't said exactly like that but I felt the sting of rejection =(. Well not a rejection.....but a ehhhh your alright but you need to improve so here is the story. So I wanted  to be apart of the this Black Gyaru YouTube channel  that this group I'm in started. I thought I did everything right ,I posted some of my pics in Different groups I'm in and I got some good responses, I read all the right mags and researched till I couldn't research anymore well I thought I did anyway. I honestly thought that there was no question in my mind that I would be accepted. AND BOY WAS I WRONG!   I will say this although I didn't 100% agree with what was said the girls were VERY helpful  with there critiques of my pictures. I'm women enough to say that at first I was pissed as Anyone would be I wanted to just flip out cuz that's what I do but I didn't because they were just helping me out and stopping me from going in to something half cocked and for that  I thank them . I went back and forth with the idea of quitting  Gyaru all together  cuz that's what I do when I don't get something right I say fuck it and quit but I didn't want to do that with this because I like it a lot well for the most part anyway. so I decided to make this a learning experience for me and I'm kinda glad it happened even though I'm a little bit disappointed but what ever shit happens ill grow from this and become better at what I do. Bellow are my critiques from the group feel free to add your critique as well the more opinions I have the better I will get well wish me luck on my journey ill post again soon <3

    Kevi Montgomery it's not about good enough, or not good enough- it's about how we are or are not improving. I think you need to work on a few things though. the hair could be lighter, as with the brows. dark black hair is rare in gyaru, and it can appear harsh, which it's doing here. also, contouring and highlighting would sculpt your face alot. as far as lips, go nude. maybe just foundation on your lips with a slight shine. blush should be an orangish tinted or peach color because ti'll show up on your skin color, but not look too clownish

    PluSsized Sky I actually like this look in its own general state,lashes,cat eye shape a bit.. thought I would try and highlight more of the tear ducts. idk wht it is but something needs to be improved for the bottom eyeliner.. I wouldn't wear the red contacts lol but some people can def pull it off.. what style are you in to?

    Kevi Montgomery and the eye make-up, try to extend your eye shape downwards a little, the way the make-up is done suggests that your eyes are tilted upwards in the corners. IMO

    Kevi Montgomery ‎:3 I think with the right make-up, red eyes can be a very striking look, but not unless the make-up compliments/ distracts from them.

    Lolo Gilbert I ageee with sky. You'd probably be better off not using the red lenses becauase they take away from your makeup. :)

    Crystal Ezeoke I have red lenses similar to these but only used them for Halloween. Idk...maybe in goth gyaru you could potentially get away with it but it's very risky if you don't know exactly what you're doing just yet.

        Lolo Gilbert Okay well first i want to say i use the same foundation :3 okay anywhoo, with contouring did you use the highlight on your nose, becauase it really isn't optional not to highlight your nose. It defeats the purpose of contouring becauase your then looks kind of dirty and not much slimmer. Also i would recommend applying eyeliner then lashes also using mascara because it minimizes the gap between your natural lashes and falses. Also contouring and highlight your jawline and cheeks and bottom lashes. Thicker liner and eyeshadow on the bottom lid. Its a good start but its not gal yet. Good luck lovely♥

            Lolo Gilbert False lashes. Also apply some eyeliner and eyeshadow to your bottom lid. I wouldn't recommend extending the black eyeshadow out much use a less opaque color such as gray or silver and extend your liner more towards te inner and outer corner. Also contour your face def:)

            Crystal Ezeoke Yeah if you could, try to upload "raw" pictures of your gyaru make up. As in not edited whatsoever. If you have to make the picture slightly brighter so that it is more clear for us to see that's fine, but the bloom effect does make it difficult to tell what's really going on.
